Finally, after months of soul-searching, I would like to share with you the fact that I have now figured out how to not only host a real website from my house, but also set up real email accounts and send emails through the website to registered users. This might not seem like much to you, but it makes me happy

still using www.1337st.com at the moment... but it will soon be something else, not entirely sure...

As for my webserver, I'm using just my regular computer.. not a special, dedicated box or anything. Software wise, I used Easyphp to make handling Apache, MySQL and PHP easier, and installed with that I use PHPMyAdmin to handle the database and PHP nuke, like FITES, to handle the layout/module system. As for mail handling, I use a combo of Outlook Express and Postcast Server. The mail fuctions took me the longest to figure out because when I Googled questions, I only got people asking the same question, but no answers... but, AHAHAHAHA!!! it all works!
