Title: Props to FITES
Post by: cuzzNkev on February 26, 2011, 08:34:59 PM: I have been with FITES since 2004 for our first 100 man LAN. Since that time, we have always experienced issues whether Network, Power, Tournaments, ambient conditions, etc.

(as of Saturday 6pm)
I want to be the first to stay that this LAN fukn rocked. No power issues, no major network issues, no server issues, food in lobby (bonus), no game server issues, etc. Not trying to be a homo here, but damn I am so proud the job the Staff did.

Czar, the swag you brought in....AWESOME!!! your leadership and organization has been amazing.

Zan: CSS went w/out a hitch.....wtf!!!

Sully: once again, wtf is up w/the pipe you provide us geeks!!! Not to mention the Comcast donated rigs!!

Ogar: you are the MAN!!!! that setup was fukn amazing. With limited LAN support (as it appears for PC games) this will be critical for FITES.

Cypher: THX for 4.2 tb, but you lose!!! Your MAME rig on the otherhandm once again....The BOMB!

DWG: The power of the LAN you will understand, young JEDI!! You are doing great. I was so happy to work with you yesterday. With all the Crap I am dealing with on personal side, it was the MOST welcome relief.

Petch: Want to dance on Volcano w/u again!!! FUK.... beyond that, your organization and skills of direction prior to setup where critical.

Turk: the backbone was rock solid once again. and who can do w/out ommmm nommm nomm noomm

There are so many others: Decepticon, Jinu, Zx2Slow, nstuff, BrokenShadow, Fearon, Agent that helped make tihs an uber successful event!

If I forgot others, I apologize.

Props to you all. this event was amazing!

As an individual unable to attend this event due to "real life" I was saddened... You guys are amazing and to hear that this year was a huge success with all the things that were added you can't be applauded enough... So congratulations guys, get some sleep Sunday you deserve it... FITES staff even if you don't look it or don't act it you still classy, keep up the good work...

Side note...
Hey Kev sorry we couldn't grab a beer together but to hear all the things you said make me miss sitting in the bar bullCrapting with you brother... And not to see the rest of you pillow biting butt pirates and bust your stones is another sad thing indeed...

The only downside was that looking at the time Saturday and noticing it was already 6PM. Time does fly when having fun. Thanks FITES staff for putting on a kick arse event.

The time leading up to every event is always somewhat stressful but everything seems to work itself out and Im proud of how it all turned out this year. The hotel and their staff really go out of their way to help us as well.

One word of warning to everyone, do NOT start to play Kinect at 4am, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack!!
