Project Cars; Any racing fans in the house?
« on: May 07, 2015, 07:42:38 AM »
Project Cars released today for the pc on steam and I hope to pick up my ps4 copy tonight or tomorrow for some racing action, yes I'm a pc defector on this one as it'll be easier to play with the kids on this platform for me. I haven't been excited for a racing game in over 10 years but the hype on this is pretty huge and thought I'd see if anyone else is picking it up.

I've heard a lot about this from people that are into racing sims. Doubly so if you are into racing sims and have a rig that can crank out ultra settings and do amazing rendering work. It's supposed to be gorgeous. I don't know as I would ever get it and be serious into winning races. I think I would be in it more for enjoying fast driving through some beautiful renders.
Eventually something cool will go in here. It's a matter of time.

That game looks very nice. Still waiting around for the full release of http://nextcargame.com/ though.

Haha, sorry I didn't mean to edit your post, I wanted to edit mine in the other thread, but my hands were quicker than my eyes.

According to the steam forums they are finalizing their physics system.  I dunno...seems pretty good to me. But yea, can't wait for the full release.

Project cars looks awesome! - If I was serious about my racing sims.  I don't have a wheel and I don't think I would take the game as seriously as one should.  Would love to see it in action with a full wheel/pedal/shifter setup though!
That's Mr. Deception to you.
