Sorry but I wanted to know a little bit more specifically about the structure of the payouts from the source tournament. If each team pays 210 (35 * 6) and theres 6 teams that should be 1260 in prize money. I realize that fites probably takes some money out of the overall pool to cover your costs, so what is that number and whats left for prizes? Don't really want to have a team trek half way across the country to find out they won 50$... it wouldn't even cover their gas.

Your payment of 35 dollars is the covering cost of the lan (costs and such to host the event). Your entry fee has no correlation between the tournament and the event.

this event year after year is worth the entry fee even if you walk away empty handed which has not ever happened to me yet and this will be my 3rd year at a fites 150 and to be honest its a hell of a lan and i dnt do it for the prizes i do it for the games and the expierence.  When i pay to go to hershey park the roller coaster dosnt pay me but when i go to a casino then u could get payed but not likely so think of this as a amusment park but you brng you own ride. (i love the run on sentence)

The staff works very hard to ensure those attending have the greatest potential for fun even at the expense of their own. Before the doors open, we're hearing positive words of encouragement from those registered and we haven't even started fragging yet!

Personally I just come to meet new faces. And I am going to be meeting a ton of people this time. I finally get to meet, HWDeath, Haggard, Zeriel, Gravdigr, some guys from Pittco who I haven't seen in years. And even Czar, and I do hope you bring that lovely piss bag that everyone knows you for. And it would be a chance to see Pride again; haven't seen him in almost 3 years. Now if we can just get Czar and Wallzy to come to the monthly lans somehow.
