I know Billabond, Enterion, Icky and myself enjoy this game.  They now have a year long trial version available for download.

This offer is for the download version of the trial edition of the online game for new subscribers (excludes SOE Station Access Accounts).....The PlanetSide Reserves trial program ends March 24, 2007, regardless of when you sign up. Please see PlanetSide Reserves FAQ for more info.

this is a good game...however...they are really hurting for players and i think this is their last attempt to save the game.

Anyway, if anyone wants to play sometime i would be up for it.

Yaah it is a good game! But like stated, it's hurting for playerz and this is their attempt to get people in. This game came in just after everyone stopped playing Tribes 2 (Still the best game) and when that game started going downhill rapidly they gave it away as well.

I just get a kick out of a lot of the pics from 2142..those Mechs sure do like some of the BFRs.  Then there was that cloaker running around.  The new PC Gamer has a preview of 2142 and it seems they are adding a bit of an RPG element to the character development.  All of it sounds so much like PS.
