Ok, well our input devices are better designed for the task of FPS.

All to true.
I recall going over to a friend's house once to play CoD4 on his PS3. Watching him play, I was amazed how he and another player would be facing one another, and I could literally count the second or so it took for them to line up a shot. Most kills occurred at waist level, or higher if the player kept his reticule slightly higher, using the strafe keys to essentially provide bearing. Sinping kills occurred when the target was stationary.
We connected an experimental mouse controller to his PS3 so I could try (I absolutely cannot play FPS on a console.) And proceeded to point-click through the match. I consider myself a mediocre player on PC, but I felt absolutely god-like with a mouse on his PS3, racking up head shots and being able to accurately shoot on the move.

I have several "console only" friends that insist that they would stomp PC gamers at their perspective games. This is just more proof that I was (like always) right.. haha
If you apply any logical thought to it, as Shoctor mentioned, the input devices are far superior to that of any console. Even if the input devices were the same, the hardware would then become a factor.

I dunno. I bet if we whipped out a PC version of a game and put the 360 controller on it. ("Games for Windows" cause they are the closet to the console ones...) The person using the 360 controller would be crushed even if they had superior hardware.

Thinking about this again... Maybe we should try this experiment with someone/someones who are or at least think they are awesome with the controller.

Im down.. but I'd only be on the PC side. I had to brush a layer of dust off my PS3 when I was moving. Typically, I only use a controller for racing games.

Racing and platformers. Speaking of which... I almost, AMLOST, want to bring Super Mario Wii. It's WAY fun with 4 people.

Seconded.
