Payday 2 skill tree
« on: October 13, 2013, 06:03:14 PM »
Today while playing with Petch and Cursed there was some discussion about how to build the skill tree. I'm at the point where I have figured out my play style and realizing that I need to respec my skill tree. If you want to "preview" your skill tree you should check out http://www.pd2skills.info/

You can set things like your current level and how much cash you have to spend to see what you can do. Or you can set your level and leave the cash field empty to see how much it will cost. A very useful tool for anyone that is looking to respec or spec out into a certain category.

Ia anyone here spacing out an enforcer skill set? I think it would help for some of the "go loud" missions out there.
Eventually something cool will go in here. It's a matter of time.

I might have to ex some more in the ghost tree. I don't know why I am so in love with the tech tree but I think it started with getting that drill upgraded, and then drooling over what people can do with shape charges.

Once I found this and was able to play around I found out I had wasted a few skill points here and there, especially once you learn the mechanics of how the skill tree works. For instance, you don't need to buy a skill in each level. You just need to spend skill points to unlock the other tiers. So it can work out that you might ace two skills on one tier and then unlock two tiers higher (as an example).

Once I played around I found out I was able to get some basic skills in master mind that make stealth a lot easier. And I should still have plenty of points to get some boss turrets for go loud style missions.
