name the mame game
« on: March 10, 2009, 07:56:25 PM »
There was a puzzle game where the balls were sitting at the bottom of the screen and one would be dropped to match the colors.  Gravity would shift the balls if they were unsupported.  It was almost an upside down Bust a Move.  Only played it once in State College but really want to play it again.  Anyone know the name?

It was called Battle Balls.  I remember the game.  I think there was a copy of it in the East Halls common building.  If it wasn't there it was in PlayLand downtown.  Another place where I spent a lot of time.

I don't remember it looking this way.  The one I played was at the arcade on College Avenue.

Here's the US version of Battle Balls if that rings a bell:

If that's not it, here is a list of all Puzzle/Drop games supported by MAME:

In this one you drop 3 balls at a time.  Sometimes as punishment balls you would get clear ones that would eat your other balls.  The only way to free them was to set off a reaction next to them.

Fun with ellipses.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!
