Hi, I have a friend that is trying to register so I can transfer him a ticket. He is new to pc gaming and never had a steam account, so he created one tonight, installed the steam client and verified his e-mail. When he goes to intranet.fites.net >> Login >> Login Via Steam! >> enters his steam credentials >> goes to a page called intranet.fites.com/newuser and it says in a white box "Whoops, looks like something went wrong." Does he need to wait a certain amount of time from making a new steam account to loging into the intranet, or is this some other issue? Any help you guys can give would be appreciated. He tried it from 2 PCs on different ISPs, and his credentials do work fine through steampowered.com and the steam client.

I am sorry they are having an issue. I will try to track it down in the AM. This is very odd. If I can't track it down they can still get in to the LAN on the ticket you purchased so have no worries!
But I WILL stomp out this bug!

So I've tracked it down. It looks like when a profile hasn't been setup or it has but Steam hasn't updated their side to reflect this, the page dies because it's trying to fill the form with your current nickname from steam.
Well, I made it handle that issue. I apologize I had never seen that happen, but I and ever person with a new steam account thanks you for reporting the bug!
