Just built it tonight. Took me awhile, I wanted to make sure the motherboard worked before I went any further. The specs are as follows:
AMD Phenom 9950 2.6GHZ
4 GB DDR2 667
500GB Harddrive
DVD-RW DL with Lightscribe
2 4870 ATI Graphics cards in Crossfire
X-FI Fatality
Coolermaster RC690
And my 24" Acer monitor to go along with all that. It still has a few gremlins to work out but I should be ready for COD4 this weekend. That is if anyone is up for it. Should run COD4 nicely. Reason I didn't go for a X2 4870 was I just thought to get that because ATI will most likely be revealing the 5 series probably by Christmas. That and the insane power requirements.

pretty nice looking system. Only comment is that the choice of CPU will most likely mean that it will be the bottle neck in your computer's performance. Your two 4870's are so powerful compared to the Phenom that they will most likely be sitting idle waiting for the CPU to catch up in most games.
Some quick googling suggests the cpu should be able to overclock to low 3Ghz range with proper cooling and voltage.

Didn't mention that the board supports the Phenom FX. Which I don't believe is out yet.

Built mine about 2 weeks ago:
q6700 oc'd to 3.4ghz
evga 790i ultra
xfx gtx 280
4gigs of ddr3 @ 1600
500gig WD hd
zalman heatsink
I think that's it.
