no not yet they are trying to get money to help the project but a lot of the game is finished and they are releasing something soon to people who donate. I thnk they are not affiliated with a publisher(EA,UBISOFT etc..) So they are trying to do this on their own. The main guy says he hates consoles and this is a PC only game. SO im thinking of donating.

Hell yea me too. I loved xwing alliance. I remember me and my roomate got that Crap working on a network and it was so much fun!

Post by: krakah on October 13, 2012, 01:24:19 PM: I spent a huge amount of time playing Freelancer online. Loved it. I was looking forward to Black Prophecy and JumpGate: Evolution. Played in the beta for Black Prophecy but it just felt very cookie cutter with no depth.

There is still a decent Freelancer community and I check up on it probably yearly. Still amazes me how many people still play this game.

This game looks incredible. I definitly donated.

Post by: Dwg115 on October 20, 2012, 11:01:59 AM: I see they just started a kickstarter campaign on top of the current system for donating funds. they said in 12 hours they amassed 250,000 from kickstarter. It seems that they will have no problem reaching their goal at this rate. They also said any additional funds will go to adding more content to the universe.
