Hey,

I was surfing around the site (like I do every day) and noticed on the patches page that Pride postes the BF2 mappack 1. Are we planing on doing map packs 1 & 2 as well at this thing. There so much fun online. I was doing some BF 2 online yesterday and played the worst map ever. I wish I would of caught the name (to busy killing those chinese) In anycase, the lighting was so bad, you could barely see anything (made good for sniping). If anyone is interested in finding a good spot for getting the BF2 map packs....may I recomend filecloud

I actually subscribed to it becuase it has all the latest updates, patches and mods and you have no waiting time. (I also get 600kb plus downloading) It's only 5 bucks a month. Anyway, Just some quick words.

We Must not be thinking of the same map pack, thats all. One funny thing is that I went to filecloud (my main source for maps) and saw that they took down the all the maps there. I don't know if the servers down or what. In any case, I'm gonna look at the pack you linked and I'll compare em to the maps I own (see what the differances are) In anycase, it'll be fun to get newer maps involved. Just some FYI... I know a lot of people may need patches before they get started, so I've taken the liberty to get the latest patches for almost every game you have listed. I have original patches as well as the updates.I also have updated patches for games like FEAR as well. I'll be more than happy to share the folder at the lan (may take off a little stress off the server). Just letting you know if thats ok..

I was thinking of the total BF2 map packs. There out on the total bf2 website. Not sure if that's what you were talking about with map packs or not (still haven't gotten the chance to go and download em...will prob. do that now) In anycase there are 2 of em and there lots of fun as well (about 120 mb per one...includes 7 maps). In anycase, I'll give ya the link to em and you can go check em out if you want. (will feel like and idiot if these are the map packs you were talking about...should go check first before posting)

Just to let you know of some nice maps with these packs... they did a take off of the ever so popular strike on kurkland map which takes place more in close quarters mountain north inside the city. It was the total BF2 map winner. Along with that, they did a remake of the Berlin map from BF 42 which is really neat. they also made 3 more island type maps which have a good bit of vehicle action in em (choppers, jets and tanks). In anycase, I'm sorta new about BF2 servers, so I'm not sure how to make em work on dedicated (It has an install so I think it automaticly puts em in the right directories for map add ons for servers and map directories). In anycase, feel free to check em out. I'm gonna go download that map pack you linked up now. Thanks
