Very pretty but, It was like spam the click (x button) and watch batman do 3 Cartwheels and kick someone. I hear that the demo doesn't do the full game justice. But...I didn't fall in love. :dozey:

Post by: decepticon on September 15, 2009, 07:55:49 AM: Yeah, batman is a typical beat-em-up / adventure game. I do enjoy it though since I am a Batman fan and I also liked the fact that they used all the voice actors that were in the cartoon.

Post by: vincegun on September 16, 2009, 01:43:04 PM: The Batman game is freaking awesome. The demo is short, very short, and doesn't do the full game justice. The demo actually uses a few different areas from the full game to make up the demo. What you see isn't what you get, so to speak. If you play the full game however, you'll get hooked.

The demo also doesn't show you that you get to upgrade aspects of Batman and his various abilities/actions/weapons.

The story is amazing, though. Visual presentation is 10/10. The Scarecrow is FREAKY AS HELL. Audio is 10/10 (it does native 5.1, so if you have it.... well, you'll hear it. :-D). Harley Quinn is 20/10. :-P Controls on keyboard are annoying, yes, but use keyboard for movement and mouse for attacks/actions and you're gold.

Personally, I found the quality level of this game to be very unexpected. I vote it game of the year, easy.

Post by: Agent4054 on September 20, 2009, 06:16:32 PM: The SP is alright. Nothing substantial. The campaign plays just like GTA4\FarCry2, but the explosions never get old. Well... they might get old, but they haven't yet. The physics in this game just kicks so much ass. Watching a building slowly crumble under its own weight is satisfying to boot.
