Yeah I can't find English news on it either. Only that a few servers I was fraggin on last night had that scrolling every so often: "NEW MAPS TO BE RELEASED ON JUNE 5TH" .. but no one could cite a source.

I love it though:  I have the 360 version of COD4 and Xbox Live users have to pay for the new maps....PC versions get it for free!  I guess that's why I don'y play it all that much for the 360 anymore.  Well, that and WASD+mouse=ownage.

I'm just looking forward to some new maps regardless.  Enough with the outdoor house after house maps.  Something new to add to the mix would be fun.  Guess we'll see.

They could always do it like TF2, a desert map, an industrial map, or for a change a desert industrial map.

How hard will it be to update the FITES Hardcore server with the new maps??  Wondering if we can start playing them on Friday.

It's out!!!

Included in the 1.6 patch (though steam hasn't updated with it yet... maybe tomorrow?).  Xbox 360 people had to pay for the maps while nvidia footed the bill for us PC users.  Yay nvidia.

Just finished patching the server and adding the maps to the rotation so everything is up and set for Friday and Sat.


Be sure to patch to 1.6 before Friday!

Also I do not believe 1.6 is backwards compatible with 1.5 so just a forewarning since not all servers have patched yet (I'm missing some of my fav servers and couldn't see the Fites server until I patched). Chinatown and Creek are the best IMO but all the new maps are pretty cool.
