I need help.  I just made a new PC with Win XP64-bit, and I didn't like it.  Windows itself was great, but I was having magor probs with 32bit software....

well, I was going to do a duel boot with 32 and 64 bit windows XP, but I cannot activate 32bit windows anymore.  I get an error saying i used up all of my re-activations and need to buy a new CD Key.....

???what are crap???? I have a real copy I got in Dec. of 03 and I cannot use it?

Any one Have any Ideas?   I can't just use WinXP64 it has to many issues now... I may just have to do a W2k/XP64 setup......

PS - sorry of spelling errors I'm mad.

call micosoft, explain your situation. As long as you have a legit key they should help you out (happened to me before) tell them you just do a lot of work on your system

As soon as I stop twitching from tekie's seizure inducing avatar..... (is that Bill Cosby flashing in there every few frames?)

Anyways, what tekie says is right. I have done this on several occaisons when I was working on other people's systems and had to change out a bunch of bad hardware or some other situation. I never encountered any major resistance. No worries....
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

I have done this for server 2k3 installs as well. No biggie. Unless your key is registered to someone else. :(
