Yeah, cause Windows doesn't have a dashboard. And Konfabulator still would keep it on the screen. BTW you can not embed a WMP instance on a Konf widget. Sooooooooooooooooooooo

It's basically Apple's ripoff of Konfabulator, which, BTW, came first and is dual platform.

They are different in were they sit and by design. Widgets are nothing new. I bought Konfabulator before Tiger even hit and BEFORE IT WAS DUAL PLATFORM. That was before it was free by Yahoo! Now I say that the Mac Widget is much more flexible. The reason I say this is because I was going to port my widget to Knofabulator, but I CAN'T embed things that I need into it.

Now, widgets have been around for a while. It was not a new concept when Konflabulator came out with it. I have used both. I even paid technicaly for both. I find the Dashboard to be superior.
