Yeah, cause Windows doesn't have a dashboard.  And Konfabulator still would keep it on the screen. BTW you can not embed a WMP instance on a Konf widget. Sooooooooooooooooooooo

It's basically Apple's ripoff of Konfabulator (http://www.konfabulator.com), which, BTW, came first and is dual platform.

They are different in were they sit and by design. Widgets are nothing new. I bought Konfabulator before Tiger even hit and BEFORE IT WAS DUAL PLATFORM. That was before it was free by Yahoo!  Now I say that the Mac Widget is much more flexible.  The reason I say this is because I was going to port my widget to Knofabulator, but I CAN'T embed things that I need into it.

Now, widgets have been around for a while. It was not a new concept when Konflabulator came out with it.  I have used both. I even paid technicaly for both. I find the Dashboard to be superior.

It looks like it was my work connection getting over loaded and Safari being a baby about it.
