My New Job
« on: April 15, 2008, 07:14:21 AM »
Well at the last LAN party I told everyone there that I was losing my job due to the closure of my company.  Well I am happy to report that I started work last week and I am enjoying my position.  The new job is IT administrator (basically cause no one else knows anything about computers) and quality control manager and tech support.  I already found one thing that I really really like.  It sure beats the 1.5 Mb/s T1 I was on at the last place.

Never, but never question the engineers judgement.

The company is called World Marketing of America.  We import gas, kerosene and electric heaters and fireplaces from China and sell them directly, as well as to Lowes, Home Depot, True Value, etc.  And no it isn't in Fredneck.  It is just outside of Huntingdon, PA.  It cut 15 miles off of my old commute.

Do these heaters come with or without lead?  And can we buy them directly from you without the Lowes mark-up?  :)

I don't hate America. That is just where they are built.  And the heaters are lead free.  Not even any solder in them.  and I haven't heard about the employee pricing plans yet.

Why don't you support the solders that are fighting for your freedoms?
