I have installed slackware on a computer and I am writing this message on it now. Please help me cause my life is over. Or it has just begun??

well I didn't think I had much of a choice. I installed it on a 266 with 64 megs of ram. it runs half decent although firefox is agonizingly slow. I mainly installed it so I could use it as a VPN gateway into my network. That is the next step.

I am surprised you got it to run x at all. If stuff is really running slow, you might want to reinstall and just use command line. Good luck.

well it starts in command line....I start X from there. and X runs half decent....just anything else I try to run is horrible.
