MW3 to have MW1 type dedicated servers

This is great news for the community if it turns out to be true.  Especially for FITES200.  The same old games ever year were starting to wear on me.  Finally a new one.

This could be the game that gets me back into COD.  I know there has been alot of gripe about the same game getting released year in and year out, but since I havent played COD since MW1 there has to be SOME dramatic differences.

It's gotten dramatically worse  8)  The server situation definitely helps though and if BF3 doesn't step up I will buy MW3 too so I can play at the LANs but I really hope it won't come down to that.

I don't really mind buying another game that supports lan dedicated servers It's just I already own 2 copies of this game. MW and MW2.   Hopefully it's more then just new maps:)

Exactly.  We're supposed to support games with dedicated LAN hosted servers. Also think about modding the game.  Even if it is very similar to past games hopefully now that we have full control over servers we can make the game to what we want. 

Homefront turned out to be a bust.  I hope FITES will try to push Brink.  Its really not a bad game as alot of the reviews have made it out to be. Lots of forced action with teamwork that can make or break a match. And it supports dedi's.

Are they any other games recently been released with dedicated servers?  I just recently setup Crysis Wars for >:O but it never really sparks interest although it looks like it could be fun.

I played Brink at QuakeCon as it was free for the weekend. Multiplayer was enjoyable but I dunno...had a bit of a homefront feel to it. Hard to explain..

Me, Nstuff and Nerdlife are always up for some crysis wars.  I totally dig that game!  I was so sick of cod mw but it's been a while so i might find it enjoyable again.

You just didnt enjoy my cheap silenced skorpion that I would HS ppl from across the map with because it has no recoil! Man I miss going 40 and 10 with that gun...That's some panty dropping K:D!
