Title: Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE)
Post by: krakah on June 04, 2012, 09:30:39 PM
This is been around for awhile now, but I only recently remembered to use it.  It easily creates panoramas from multiple images.  Here are a few from some of the places I've been since I started working at the job I'm at now.  Mostly Florida and NYC.  I have some old pics of DC and the mountains outside of San Francisco on my old phone I'll be taking off soon.  And I know at one point i took some pics from the top of the Empire State Building.  Those might be more difficult to find.

I'd really like to see shank make a few of these.  I know he travels to some pretty cool places as well.  I bet he could share some really awesome looking pictures.

There is an app for iPhone that does a pretty good job of stitching photos together into a panorama.  Photosynth...and it's free.  Nice thing is it takes all the photos for you as you pan around.  It is also from Microsoft so maybe it uses the same ICE engine?
