Title: Max Payne
Post by: Mr.Tibbs on October 18, 2008, 09:14:06 AM: I went and saw it last night at 7pm. I would discuss it but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I will say that Mark Walhberg did a good job of playing the role.

Post by: .:F3ar0n:. on October 18, 2008, 12:25:57 PM: Yeah i wasnt too thrilled to see that Marky Mark was going to do Max Payne and saw it as another disaster video game knock off movies (like Doom and IMO Hitman which wasnt bad but wasnt even close to how the game is)

I'll prob see it sometime next week (so I can avoid the crowds...you know how being sociable and being in public makes my skin boil)

The story is very very slow and unless you actually know something about the story before hand you are lost. I really didn't care for it and wish I could get a refund on the 2 hours I wasted on it.

They should have taken a clue from The Punisher. Even though I knew a bit about the story, it was so easy to watch that movie and it really told the story well. Still one of my favorite comic book movies.
