Well it looks like the pirates  are gonna be walking the plank in a few months when this gaming alliance takes affect.  Apparently, there will be a logon for single and multiplayer screens for new games.  That should take a bite out of piracy.  I don't hate the pirates so much but i don't want to see PC gaming die either.

not if it's like steam!  I would imagine that steam is the model they'll be using since it's very efficient at blocking pirated versions of the games that run on it.  now every year i'll have to have a set budget for pc games.

Steam games are cracked as well, except the MP portions.  C'mon, HL2:ep1 and 2....actually I have found almost all if not all steam SP games cracked.  Plus, how would this affect people with no interweb connection?  i know there aren't many, but there are some poeple who play without having internet.

If you don't have the internet, you're probably missing out on about 95% of a) whats going on in the rest of the world, b) sweet games to play with other people (Tired of playing with yourself?), and c) Pr0n.

There is also an adapter you can get to use a mouse and keyboard on the XBox 360.  Only default WASD mappings are supported though.
