Looking for thoughts again
« on: April 24, 2005, 08:13:17 PM »
another photography project

this time, it will be a postcard sent to my photography teacher for part of my final.

how i did this, it is just a composite i made from an MRI, that i processed on to photo paper (darkroom type)  then scanned

then i overlaid a pic of me, resulting in this

this is still in the rough idea stage of production, please let me know what you think i might be able to do with it to make it more visually real.  (NOTE:  i know that the face doesnt line up, its because it was taken at differnet angles.  i dont care about that  :shakeno: )

thanks.

you should change the MRI image to resemble that of the linux pengiun. And put that over the head so it looks like you have linux on the brain. That would be friggin cool, once again von the creative genius strikes again.

very cool idea bro!  Keep it the way it is... for a non computer class, the linux penguin will hurt more than help

Oh, and the sunglasses on your face in the picture is absolutely clutch!  It shows evolution in a "cool" sense.

Good job! :10:

after looking more in depth...

what about changing the text in the upper corners in the last photo to match your description... might add even more umpf to your custom design

anyways, looks cool as always!

edit: was that all done in a "real" darkroom (aka not photoshop)?

both pictures were orginally done in the darkroom.  I was not able to match up the heads well enough so i scanned them both and overlaid them in photoshop.

but now that you mention that pride, i think i might put the text from the postcard in as that lettering.  it'll throw my teacher off but he'll find and be like ohh Crap thats good.
