I'm unhappy wih my aspire x-navigator, it looked cool on the net and all but in real life ist kinda crappy/heavy. is there a local shop that has a good selection on non beige/boring cases?
-
yeah, alliance computers in lemoyne. google them for where they are. They have good selection of cases.
-
yeah, not really sure about to many local places. Only one I know is Cyber Warehouse...but selection is def slim there and pricing is a little higher than what ur gonna find through an online Pricewatch search. Good luck with your searches

<=== Bought 2 cases at Alliance and have been happy with both.
They carry ANTEC stuff which IMO is good for the price range.

I stopped in allience (on derry) and tronNET. TronNET's folks knew their stuff but they are more oriented to complete systems and not component sales, allience was busy when I was there - they didnt really have anything I wanted tho.
I'm kinda leaning to a TT armour case, I have a issue with my current radiator mounting with the asus a8n32's NB heatpipe.

My friend has the Armor and damn is that thing heavy. I really don't care for it because of it's weight. Other then that though it's a good case and very solid. Good looks too!!!

Is your current case not supportive of a 120mm fan? Does your liquid cool system run of a a simular setup to the Big water systems? I've ran into simular problems with my coolermaster 730 case. It looks like a nice case to have for liquid cooling, but again....Have no clue where ur gonna find it locally. However, just a simple pricewatch search yelding the case at 155 and had a few with free shipping. If you can stand to wait a few days

I have a aspire x-navigator (antec/chemming/whatever clone) with a 120mm rear fan that happens to be above the onboard ports on the motherboard.
I have a Swiftech MCR120 120mm radiator mounted to the rear fan. It is mounted internally and sticks out over the motherboard about 3". My new motherboard is a asus a8n32 that has heatpipes for the x32 SLi bridge and the nforce4 chipset. They are cooled by copper fins located right behind the onboard ports. Asus included a fan for passive/watercooled systems for the heatpipe fins but it will interfere with my current radiator mounting.
I might go with a big mountain UFO case or one of the lian-li's with the divder between the top and bottom that mounts the motherboard upside down, but I really dont want to put that kind of money into a case.
