Title: LANParty and Snow Tubing??

So some of us staffers were thinking it may be fun to put the lanparty on hold for a few hours on saturday night and go snow tubing up at RoundTop!

We would have to lock down the daycare unless a FITES staffer wanted to stay behind.  So that would mean that if you didn't go tubin, you would have to find something else to do for a few hours.

Right now we are just trying to guage interest.

So... if you are planning on going to the January LAN... are you interested in taking a break Saturday evening and going snow tubing?

has there been any response yet?  I don't believe I would be joining in on the snow tubin

I will go tubing.  Nothing like catapulting down a slippery hill knocking into others while laughing your head off.  Anything special we need to bring or can we just go in jeans and a ski jacket??

At this point, I would say that tubing is out... it hasnt even been near cold enough for good ice!  Maybe at the next event... assuming we ever get below 40 degrees.

Road trip to Buffalo? They got what like ten feet of snow this year or something.  :bigsmile:

If there is snow (I doubt it at this point) I'd be game.
