Yes it's election time again. Not for political office, for something much more important. Mt. dew has released 3 new flavors, only 1 of which will survive. Now here's the thing, there is finally a soda released in my ultimate favorite drink flavor, fruit punch! Yes indeed a fruit punch flavored Mt. dew and as I sip mine right now I am entering a state of nirvana. It is probably the most wonderful thing released and I may commit hari kari should it not win and I never get to have this wonderful flavor party in my mouth ever again.
So if you do the dew, you gotta try this stuff, it's fruit punch flavored dew codenamed 'typhoon'. Then get over to www.dewmocracy.com (http://www.dewmocracy.com) and vote everyday (for typhoon of course). You get 3 votes per day. When you get to the site do not be fooled by the endorsement for the 'white out' flavor because it has a ninja in the ad. Ninjas are cool but the flavor sucks. And hey, if you don't do the dew your votes still count so get in there and throw a few votes in as well. Remember my future carbonated beverage enjoyment, and possibly my life will depend on you.
Voting ends June 14th, which also happens to be my birthday. I can't think of a better present.

You know.... the only other time they did this, which was the first one, the flavor I wanted didn't win. And honestly, out of the current three flavors.... while Typhoon is the best, I'd still rather have code red or livewire over it. Last time, I liked the strawberry-ish dew the best and I think the flavor I liked the least won.
I think I'll stay out of this one, this time. Though, I do fully enjoy the fact that the Dew brand is doing this kind of thing instead of staying stagnant like the other sodas.
100% want Dew to bring back the 2 different flavors they had on the two different halloweens.

Why aren't these new flavors in diet?!?!?!
-
I always thought Code Red was a fruit punch-ish flavor. If it's not, what's it supposed to be?

Im on the same page... I dont like code red myself because I think of it as carbonated fruit punch...
I guess I'd have to try Typhoon to see the difference.

I want throwback. HFCS may of given be the 'beetus or something, but the funk aftertaste that wasnt there with the sugar based product makes it way better.

I was just making a mere suggestion, I have no clue what you would be implying. Could you explain?

i miss Surge. And no, vault was not the same thing. mmmm surge....

Surge was the Crap!

Code Red is cherry dew, as evident by the "with a blast of cherry flavor" or something on the bottle.
And yes... Pitch Black. That's what it was. Pitch Black was grape and Pitch Black 2 was a sour grape flavor. Rather different, but it got very addicting very quick.

This has turned to a nostalgia thread?
