Title: Is this year's internet connection weaker/smaller than last year's?

It's 8:45AM, the room is less than 25% full and this is what the connection looks like.

It's been faster in previous years.

Each person is allotted a specific amount of speed. That speedtest will ONLY show YOUR allotment as it's maximum.

TL:DR - Speedtesting will NOT show the maximum bandwidth at the LAN but only YOUR portion.

Thanks for the reply.

I understand that the test only shows my throughput, but even when the room was sparsely populated, I was seeing high latency to outside servers (League of Legends, World of Warcraft, etc.).

Am I correct that this year's connection is not as robust as previous years?

You are incorrect. It's the same connection as last year and the year before.

I noticed somethings that could be adjusted so I made some tweaks to the firewall. Hopefully it's a bit better for you now. (Though each person is limited to a 2/2 connection so no one person can monopolize the connection.
