Title: Is QuakeCon Self Destructing?

Perhaps its just me... but as i've been watching the "goings on" at QuakeCon's forums.... I have to question if something is wrong over there.

It is now May, and according to their leadership, they are still undecided as to where to put a few thousand gamers!

On top of that, they are banning people for even posting a question as to when the event may take place.

Just admit it, Pride. QuakeCon will be merging with the FITES 150ml this Aug..

I haven't talked to Tom or anyone, but have been following it a bit...

They were baning/locking due to the sheer number of "where/when will it be" threads.
I guess there is some bad blood with the gaylord, not sure, nothing is official. Personally i'd like to see it more toward the east coast, but I doubt that will happen.

I'm worried cause I haven't herd anything either, and i'm kinda staff :(

I just hope it's not the week of the FITES lan

Yeah, I saw that a few weeks ago.

Regardless of when QC happens, I have already pledged my services to the FITES LAN, sooooo.....I just have to hope they don't interfere with each other.

P.S, Pride, John Carmack said he's cool with sharing a hotel room with Fabio, we're all set for the merger *wink wink*
