But it won't be on Verizon or Sprint/Nextel.

It'd be nice to see them available on other networks. I'm about to pull the trigger and get my 1st iphone. Does anyone know if the GS model is still having issues?

also, Death to Sprint :angryfire: :angryfire: <-- I'm a hater of their service

I haven't had any issues with my GS and I like it far better than my G.

But it can't be on those networks unless they change out the radios in the phone.

I guess since RIM is throwing the exclusive Storm 2 to GSM it would only be fair for an iphone cdma right? I cant wait until the new blackberry hits market this month. A lot of promise over the original 8530. RIM finally got it right and started throwing wifi in the mix. All I can say is it's about dang time!  :10: Lets see how long it takes to get the firmware somewhat solid this time. I have a feeling they're going to epic fail like the original storm so I might as well wait a few months until they patch it up before upgrading from my Curve 8330

**Edit:

My Only Tear; Dear Cell Phone Gods....GET FLASH INCORPORATED IN BROWSERS! THANK YOU

The browser continues to get better.  Though multi-touch is supported on the device to some extent (most notably in executing copy/paste features) the browser does not take advantage of the technology.  It also does not have Flash support, but it does support m.youtube.com.  In general, page rendering was good and it was fairly quick over our Wi-Fi connection.  The browser is leaps and bounds better than what RIM offered just two years ago, but still has to do some work in catching up with Palm and Apple.

Mac OSX is the Shight.  If mac weren't around Windows would't have anyone to steal ideas from.  *Cough* Gadgets, stickies, start button, etc.  I won't be surprised if they rename smart phones to MePhones just to rip somin off.
