Got this from my brother this morning.  Kinda wanna laugh at the dumbass, but it looks REALLY painful.

Quote
A couple kids are driving down a residential street when the kid in
the back seat tries to knock some kid off his bike by opening up the
driver-side back door.

A few recomendations:
a) don't ever let your kid drive
b) don't ever let your kid handle a video camera
c) don't ever let your kids out with his friends
d) don't ever let your kid ride in the back seat of the car while a
friend is driving and another friend is operating a video camera.

You know what?  Screw it.  Kill your offspring when they are three and
just eat them.

That's been around the internet many times...

From what I gather, that is exactly what happened.. kid tried to hit a kid on a bicycle and bashed his head off of a parked cars rear bumper.
Insert witty signature here...

Also go this from my brother, I was trying to figure out how much force was applied to his jaw bone...
Quote
I think your parameters are correct, but your formula is wrong..
force = mass x acceleration.  (i think) that makes for a nice simple
calculation, usable for most people.

I doubt the original equation was meant to be measured in miles per
hour, so you'd have to convert that to deceleration in the form of
feet per second per second.  If you if you figure his head went from
25 miles an hour in one direction to 25 miles hour in the other
direction in one second you have an acceleration of 264,000 feet per
second per second.

The mass of his head (and body) is negligible compared to the car, so
we'll stick to with the 3500lbs weight of the car.

force = 924000000 (not sure what the unit is here)

regardless, I think you are correct in your observation that his teeth
will be in his brain.

I failed Algebra the first time I took it, so if any of you other geniuses want to jump in here feel free. :smoke:

That would make a good excerpt in a drivers ed video. This is what not to do in a moving car part 1. First reaction was a wtf for me but then again it was funny to see it in instant replay.
