Im about to become a proper geek

  So I have a closet of parts that could more or less make a few PC's, I also have an angry girlfriend that wants more closet space.  Other than the obvious option of kicking the angry girlfriend to the curb I am building my own 18U rack.  I found some rails rather cheap online, and when all is said and done I should have a very nice looking rack for under $100.  Most of my stuff I need a case for, and I found a few decent 4U ATX cases for cheap.

I think I have to disagree that you are a geek.  You have a girlfriend.  That automatically nullifies your geekiness.  You may be able to attain some form of geekiness but it will take much more than a rack in your house.
