Title: I may be hosed: An EBay story.
Post by: zx2slow on August 09, 2006, 08:17:32 PM
So I got my TT Armor jr. case today that I had bought on ebay.  The seller said it was new and unopened.  I recived a used case, it's in great shape so thats not the issue.  The seller forgot to include the hard drive screws (the case needs special screws for the hard drive).  He also forgot to include drive rails, so I cant mount anything in the case.

I e-mailed the seller and shot a email to thermaltake to see if they would sell me the parts if the seller decides to screw me.  I hope I get the parts before the LAN.

I have some drive rails....let me know about the size of the rails you need and I'll let you know if I have any...I can bring them to the LAN.

I have a ton of rails too, but these are specific to the armor cases, the screws are too.

I hope you didn't give the seller any rating yet. If he screws you, screw him!

Thats about it. I ended up going 24 and 26 yesterday on dust 2 so I'm def more of a mod'r than a gamer. I may not be good, but my rig sure as well will   :2thumbsup:

And it's never too early for a little banter or trash talking.

What are you bringing a NES with a mATX motherboard jammed into it.

Just the noise from the fans on my case is loud enough to make your ears bleed (at 12v it moves over 1000 cfm of air with some loud delta's, thank got for rheostats).

my case is beige and has a very own special rattle when turned on, and a bent up I/O shield for looks.

Don't be jealous!

Well I can submit mine for the ugly computer award.  3 year old chieftec dragon case has been through hell and back.  The front door was removed a few months ago because the snap that otherwise kept it closed broke.  Super-glued it back on and the snap broke off again a few weeks later.  It has that ugly beige color too.  I got a new LCD however and plan on replacing the case.  I won't be bringing the LCD but it is a LG L1970HR screen.
