did you notice though Dave the speed they are warning you about is the time it takes to load the page on a 28.8k modem. I mean who the hell still uses a 28k dial-up modem? I mean other than if you were surfing on your phone. and the reason you had no problems with google's time is because there is nothing to load on the main page. essentially.

And I remember surfing the web with 2400 baud back in 1993 before I upgraded to a 14.4
