I was too pissed off to care. Ran a full system scan after reinstalling though.

I had been planning on reinstalling anyhoo.. was on an upgraded 32-bit install from RC1. Did a full 64-bit install this time.

I have no idea. I scan all of my torrents before I open them. Like I said, I haven't had a security breech in 6 years. I make sure I don't do stupid Crap like clicking on random links, and I always have and adblocker/scriptblocker running when surfing the web.

I will have to dig up the news article, but there was a story run recently that The New York Times, CNN, Comcast and bunch of other big name sites were showing malware ads... The ads could install Crap without you even clicking on it.
