Outcome seems to work. BF4 running without origin.

So the big question, and watching two toddlers leaves me with very little reading time, is will this allow for LAN servers somehow? Because that would be awesome.

As far as I can tell it lets you run Origin games (BF3/4) without the need for Origin running in the background. NOT a server emulator.

What I gather is that "Venice Unleashed" is the current name of the *BF3* server emulator. It's currently in closed beta, but working to some extent. LAN functionality will come eventually.

EILI5: Does this emulate Origins servers so you can play offline (Circumventing DRM) or emulate a BF3/4 game server?  Or both?

Fun fact; I touched a real BF3 server at PAX once, it was incredible.

Pretty sure one still needs to load up origin whenever there's a update, which is what I'm doing now. Then I'll close it and not use it again until I have to.
