So, our server is up for the 6 month renewal in July, and after talking with several people about it, it seems as though the popular concensus would be to let the server subscription run out in July, which I also agree with. We have had plenty of fun nights gaming together in it, but it doesn't seem to be worth it to rent it out for another 6 months.
From what Decepticon had posted earlier in a different thread, it seems that Battlefield 3 will most likely follow the same model as BC2 in that you will have to rent a server out as it probably won't have dedicated LAN support (sadface), and I would imagine most people wouldn't be very interested in doing, which I completely understand.
NOW, with all of that being said, as this will be our last full month of play on the server, I would love to have some big BC2 events this month with as many people as possible together in the server to go out with a "bang" so to speak.
Let me know what you guys think. I think it would be a blast to have a few final large (hopefully) turnout events in our server before its gone.
