Holy Crap that looks awesome! I wonder about the performance hit?
I'm wondering the same thing, because when you start increasing the pixel count on texture maps it has a pretty significant impact on performance. unless he's using some kind of special ini file to set everything up so it looks pretty and runs good. I don't know, just saying from my experience with modding games that bigger texture files equals a hit in performance, but not as big of a hit as increasing poly counts on meshes.
