Title: Gears of Windows Gone Gold

Microsoft announced today that Epic's Gears of War for Windows has gone gold.

anyone else getting this besides me?

I'll prob pick it up..I've been looking for a good game to play as of late since I've gotten bored with GRAW 2 and CoD 2. Hopefully UT3 and Crysis will hold interest a little longer when released.

im really liking ut3 a lot even though the textures have been turned down in the demo i can only imagine how good it's going to look in the final release.

Definitely... gonna look sweet. Though I'm starting to think the quality of the graphics in the demo are different per grfx card. On my 6800GT, max settings, I can run the game alright, but it doesn't look nearly as good as it did on kevs computer max settings. Of course I am 2 generations behind him in grfx cards... but still.

I'll get Gears of War eventually, I like that it is backwards compatible with XP. Unlike Halo 2, which won't get a XP port till July of 08. I will get that and also SC2 when it comes out, maybe UT3, I can tell Christmas shopping is going to be so much fun this year.
