Title: Games coming on DVD now

As the news story on the front page states, FarCry will be coming on DVD rather than multiple CD's

How many of you does this affect?  Either way, do you think this is a good move for the future of gaming?  Much like when games went from Floppy to CD?

I just ordered a DVD combo drive from newegg yesterday.
I have an old DVD drive in my home theater pc but this one is for my gaming machine.

Also it look like UT2004 will have a DVD version

Hell, I thought that was gonna happen way back in the day of Baldur's Gate (which was also released on DVD)

I do! It's a Plextor 708A Dual format drive that kicks absolute ass (or for you hostage, it kicks nipples!).
