Since only getting Mahoney's response, figured posting a new topic about the LAN games might warrant a separate thread.

What games are peeps planning to be play most at the LAN?

Chivalry, Damned, Evolve, Serious Sam, and maybe even some Duke3D COOP. (The Megaton edition on steam supports 8 player coop!) And of course I'll play some TF2.

I was hoping someone would want to try some Sniper Elite 3. 

If the LAN gets too crazy, Goat Simulator will have to be played!

So many games to play at this year's LAN. But I wish more of the newer titles had LAN support.

Reflex devs have been doing well with updates considering it's a three dude team. It's gonna be pre-alpha though for a long time. Prob won't go Beta until next year at the earliest. Still a fun time if you want that fast paced Quake feel and don't want to play Quake. TOXIKK should be good if you are looking for a UT type fix but I've always been team Quake. UT just feels so inferior  :banme:

I am trying to recommend games to someone possibly attending the LAN.  He has a lower end laptop.  So far the list for getting started I gave him is:

Counter Strike: GO
Dota2
TF2
Payday 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Killing Floor
AOE2
Chivalry
UT3

His laptop can run Borderlands 2 but it seems like it may be topping out the machine.  The list should be a good start with the Valve games. Any other games suggested to offer?

In the past we have had a lack of interest for LoL at the LAN. Also, DOTA 2 is a fully LAN playable game that does not require internet connections to play. If people want to make their own adhoc tournament I feel like we can assist with that, but there wouldn't be any trophy or "official" winner so to speak.
