Title: Galactic Conquest instead of Star Wars Battlefront?

They finally released the full version of GC.  It is a mod for BF1942, much like Desert Combat.  But it is based on Star Wars.

Figured this might be a more fun replacement for SW Battlefront... for the next lanparty.

Should we play GC or SWBF?

I didnt find SWBF very good... but the Gc Bf mod is pretty cool, it has way cooler stuff like drods and the millenium falcon.

I went for GC cuz its being made by petroglyph which is a company consisting of 20 staff members most of them from the previously bought out company "WESTWOOD" studious who made C&C and alot of other things. But if this game is good or the best RTS I have ever played then it will get high praise from reviewers well maybe not gamespot wont give it a decent review but Ill buy it anyway.

I am willing to try the Battlefield mod. there is no problem switching games if it is buggy or just not enjoyable. It would be nice to have a change of maps so I am hoping the mod is good.
