Fr4g0u7 and I got a CS Source server running.

Hey for anyone who still enjoys playing CSS, we have a 16 man server running right now. I basically set the map cycle to just office/dust2 until we get more maps, or a request for a map change.

I know it's not an official FITES server, but I figure I would give you an A record for now.

[steamconnect]smokeshack.fites.net[/steamconnect] will get you to that IP...

My edits were due to me adding custom BBC.
You should see 3 new buttons. 2 that have the steam icon and one that has the Teamspeak bubble.
The first is the most important. It allows you to put the address of the server in the tag and it makes a URL that auto launches Steam and connects to the specified address. You can also add specific ports and passwords. (Hover over has syntax.)

Yeah if anyone has mod suggestions or map suggestions just post them. Fr4g and I were thinking about adding ZombieMod to the server. There is also a Prophunt Source 8)

If you need any help or have any questions just shoot me a PM. Did you install eventscripts and mani yet on it? Must have for CS:S servers. Zombiemod is pretty sweet but im partial to GunGame myself. GG_Churches or GG_Poolday just doesnt get old

Alright thanks a lot man. I did not install either of those yet, but I was planning to install Mani. I will take a look at eventscripts. Gungame server sounds good.

I am a big fan of ManiMod.
Used to run a server till it got cost prohibitive.
Curse, Petch, Broken and I used to play a buttload of CS.

Read somewhere that ManiMod is somewhat of a resource hog. We have been looking into SourceMod.

Server now has sv_downloadurl working and gungame mod running gonna look at adding some custom maps tonight gg_ and some rats yea! edit: I also am packing the map .bsp's and .vtf's with bzip2 so it won't suck up so much bandwidth and downloads will be faster.

We are hosting the files on our web host we got for our website NxGenGaming. We haven't touched the website in nearly 3 months. So we figured we use the bandwidth and space since we have it.

We now have a FITES gungame server. We do not have any gg_ maps as of yet. Our plans tonight are to download maps and get some useful and fun plugins installed. We are running SourceMod as the main add-on. If you have any recommendations for fun plugins or even gg_ maps let us know. We are going to be downloading some maps tonight to try out.
