Overtime rules are incorrect.

You guys posted something about overtime rules which were incorrect for Quake and UT2004.

In an exact quote of the UT2004 CTF 6v6 rules, for example:

In case of a tie there will be an OT replay of that map right after it was played.  The OT round will be first to 1 captured flag.  If it is still a tie, repeat.

(or for the 1v1 games of UT2004 and Quake, it was first to 10 kills or something).

For UT2004 and Quake, the map DOES NOT end when the time runs out and the score is tied.  It goes into overtime, and the first person to score a kill wins.  In CTF, the first team to score a point wins.  It doesn't end if it is tied at the end of the regulation time.  (Assuming we are using a time limit for all of these tournaments)

So, I just wanted to throw that up, so no confusion would be happening.

Thank you!  That was very helpful information, and i have updated the rules accordingly.

You've been a great resource for tournament rules, and I appreciate your willingness to help us get them correct.

Yeah, I try to be as helpful and informative for tournaments as possible.  I ask lots of questions, especially at the lan.  If you guys don't mind, I'll ask one of the admins to look at my games to make sure nothing looks illegal (so no conflicts arise later).  You could probably look over my team, s2i, as well.

I just want smooth tournaments with no conflicts.   :2thumbsup:
