I'll just leave this here...

This is a perception test
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Well I got a cable hook up today.  Raised my monthly bill by $5 or $6 over DSL and I have a much better connection.

Never, but never question the engineers judgement.

Rathe, even though Frederick the technically the closest server for speedtest.net, I've always had much better results from Washington DC or New York. I think the server that hosts the test in Frederick just isn't very good. Or, you should test out the "other" speedtest server I mentioned in the staff forum.

And just to clear this all up, AVG basically was dividing by zero. To calculate a transfer speed, you would take the amount received divided by the time spent downloading to give you your transfer rate. The above screenshot shows a 0 byte file, that has 0 bytes remaining and 0 bytes received. For some strange reason though, there are still 9 hours, 10 minutes, and 44 seconds remaining on the transfer. I guess it's tough to round properly when dividing by zero.
