FITES Dinner?

Hey everyone!

Anyone interested in doing a non-gaming dinner?

I was thinking that we could all meet some place in the Harrisburg area and catch a meal and movie.  It would be family oriented so you can bring significant others, children, friends, whatever.  It would just be a way to get together, without a computer.

Right now, I'm going to throw an End of February date out there.

Let me know your thoughts and if you'd be interested in doing something like this.

Well, this is a gamer forum so I'm guessing the night will consist of McDonald's and a trip to Excitement video? I don't think the kids would like the McD's too much...

Was thinking more of a Buffet place like Ryans or something.  We could try to book a separate room just for our group if they have them.  People can just join us for dinner, if they dont want to go to the theater afterwards.

I know I would love to make it.  I always wish I could hang out more other than just at LANs but the drive is a killer.  How about we plan it for the night before the next LAN??  I was already thinking of coming down friday and crashing at the daycare that night so I didn't have to drive early in the morning.  And I have heard of those famous sushi dinners the night before.

What about making it the Saturday night of the lan?  Close down the lanparty for a few hours and people can have their family/friends join them... check out the lan for a few minutes, then we'll head to dinner/movie.  Then return for the rest of the night gaming.

Might be a good way to break up a 24 hour lan.

Actually, Saturday night of the December LAN we did just that. How many people did we have? like 10 of us? We invaded the Habachi grill with the all-you-can-eat sushi menu.
