Fites 200 Tournament listings are posted!

Tournament listings are posted on the Fites intranet.

Maps and official rules are to be completed shortly.  In a addition to these listed PC tournaments, we are working on some console tournaments for Friday evening. 

The UT3 tournament is going to take place Friday evening.  All other PC tournaments will be Saturday in order of Call of Duty 4, Left 4 Dead 2, Counterstrike Source, and Team Fortress 2.  Exact times are to follow.  The mystery tournament will be during the day Saturday.

The maps in the UT3 section are DM maps. :| Also, do we need to have a team of 5 people already to join the tournament, or am I supposed to join a team at the lan party?

That's correct. The game mode to be played is Team Deathmatch. And preferably, you should create your team via the Intranet page so we have a good idea of what to prepare for.

Wait... there is a TDM UT3 Tournament?
I'm only seeing one UT3 game and its CTF on the intranet.

Where are these maps listed, and who wants Hoss on their team.  :headscratch:

Oh, it's TDM? That's a relief. The tournaments page says 5v5 CTF.

EDIT: Man, I hate gateway and sanctuary.  :cussing: I wish something like defiance and arsenal was there instead...

EDIT2: 5v5 on sentinel and koos barge is a LOT of people for, like, the smallest maps in the game...

Hold on.. first you say you hate the bigger DM maps in the game, then you say you hate the smaller maps. Although, Sentinel is not considered a small map. 10 people can fit quite comfortably in it. Biohazard and Rising Sun are smaller than Sentinel.

Doesn't one of the FITEs guys have a UT3 server somewhere? Think I played on it a couple months ago.
Could that be setup with a map rotation on whats going to be in the tournament? if its still around.
