Figure we could post those first jobs that every one hates... or most ppl hate.
mine was cleaning out drains at the american legion for 5$ an hour... i also had to clean up after partys and stuff... the worst part though was when these crazy Russian ppl or what ever butchered a lamb and cooked it out side... guess who had to clean it up :bomb:

It sucked, no pay since I already owned everything :P

Besides mowing the lawn and whatnot during my early teens, my first regularly paying job was as a short order cook at the "Treat" restaraunt in Shippensburg. I started my Junior year of HS (15 years old)
I would take the order, go to the kitchen, make it, then serve it. Was a great first job, as it taught me a few things.
1. The harder you work, the more perks you get from management later on.
2. I never want to work in food service again.
3. I never want to deal with the general public once again.
4. Work my ass off so that I don't get stuck in a food service managerial position like my bosses there did.

I was a paper boy (talk about low pay and no fun).
-
I worked for a day camp.... Worked all summer.. ASSHATS never paid me..
Thats ok... LOL I am still alive! *gives their grave the finger*

SUprised no one's said McDonald's yet. So I will.
I started there when I was 17 and was paid $4.85, and then got a raise 3 months later to $5.15. Ok, it wasn't a raise, the minimum wage was increased. They would have paid me less, but it was against the law.
I played in the grease for three years before I left there. And I learned the same lessons pride did :)

I guess I am a little whore cause I have NEVER worked in food.
I refuse to. I became a secratary first... and I made much more ;)

Haha! I escaped the Staples hellhole 7 months ago. That's where I went after I left McDonald's. I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I had some great times at Staples, it's just that none of them happened during my last year and a half. If you see Wayne or Crystal tell them sully says hi!
-
Which staples did you work at?
-
I started at the one in Hanover, but eventually got a promotion and was at the one in Harrisburg on Union Deposit Road for a little over a year.
-
Well staples is a no-go, the interview went well but they want me to take a $1 per hour pay cut if I am to work there. Screw that!
