Title: Fired up Battlefield 1942 for the first time in years...

So I decided to throw BF1942 onto my work laptop so that I could play it the other day.  It was raining out, so it seemed like a good time waster.

Man!! I forgot how much fun that game was!  :10:

Some of you must remember the epic battles we had in Taint's basement playing that game for hours on end!

I remember that one incredibly unbalanced game, and the underdog won. Bahaha... what was it.. like 6 on 18? or something crazy. Normandy beach and Battle for Britain were always epic battles. Good times.

And Coral Sea too had great air/naval battles. I've been reminiscing about BF1942 lately as well. Maybe I'll get that installed this weekend. I wonder if it works with Windows 7 x64?

It works fine on Vista x64. I have the collectors pack, and everything runs great.

I love that game.  Would be fun to get a game going at one of the LANs.
