nifty. I'll have to try it out. there's a few cases where I've been looking for something like this.
If you have grander plans (or a really large selection of legally ripped media from your own personal collection), then you might consider theRenamer:
http://www.therenamer.com/Cypher told me about it a while back and it's pretty slick. You do some initial setup (telling it what format your folders/files should be), then you simply drag/drop your files (all at once) into the interface. it will search various databases (IMDb, etc) based on the original file name, then move/rename it to the proper folder/file in the target location you previously setup. Works for tv shows and movies. It will figure out the tv show based on the source file names, then after properly detecting it, it will auto fill in all the required information such as the episode title. If it doesn't pick something up automatically, you can tweak some of the settings to make sure it does. Case in point, it can be difficult to get it to detect Battlestar Galactica the old version vs the new one as your source filename may simply say Battlestar Galactica.
Only odd problem I ran into was on an older version, it used google to figure out some of the filenames and after so many uses, google will think you are a spammer and block any searches for a short period.
